Solid gold and platinum naturally withstand water, oxygen, and chemicals, however, they can get scratched over time with wear. Silver is sensitive to chemicals, and its softness may cause it to bend if worn during workouts or cleaning. To increase your jewelry’s longevity, remove before doing any hard labor or cleaning with chemicals, like bleach.
